Pat's Bar, The Diamond, Enniskillen
All Ulster Poetry Slam Final
Hosted by Radio Foyle’s resident poet and wordsmith, Frank Rafferty, the final of the All Ulster Poetry Slam returns to Pat’s Bar in the Diamond, Enniskillen. Poetry Slam artists from Donegal to Down compete in the event and have three rounds of three minutes each to perform and impress the judges in their bid to become All Ulster Champion.
The Slam poems are often on social and political topics, and must be the sole work of the reciting poet.
The All Ulster Poetry Slam Final event promises to be thought-provoking, mind-bending, funny, sad, enlightening and great craic in great company! Performance poetry at its best – don’t miss it.
Last year’s All Ulster Poetry Slam winner Michael Wilson went on to place 4th in the European Slam and will be competing in the World Poetry Slam in Brussels in September, the week before FLive.
